Custom WordPress theme implementation
The frontend was coded specifically for the supplied design rather than assembled from a generic theme.
Enterprise WordPress
I helped convert ComplianceQuest’s custom designs into a production WordPress experience, creating reusable frontend structures for a content-heavy enterprise website containing hundreds of pages.

01Overview
ComplianceQuest provides enterprise quality, health, safety and compliance software. Its website needed to communicate a large product ecosystem across an extensive collection of product, industry, resource and marketing pages.
I worked on converting custom frontend designs into a functional WordPress implementation. This involved more than reproducing the appearance of one landing page. The visual system needed to scale across hundreds of pages while allowing content to remain manageable through WordPress.
The work included custom HTML and CSS development, WordPress theme integration, page migration, responsive behavior and technical SEO improvements.
02Challenge
Large enterprise websites accumulate many page types, content structures and campaign requirements.
Without reusable rules, individual pages can begin to look disconnected and maintenance becomes increasingly expensive. ComplianceQuest required a custom visual experience while still benefiting from WordPress content management.
The implementation also had to preserve existing content and search visibility during the transition.
03Solution
I developed the frontend using custom HTML, CSS and JavaScript, then integrated the completed structures into WordPress.
Repeated interface patterns were converted into reusable theme sections and page components. This allowed different pages to maintain the same visual language while supporting distinct content requirements.
The migration process included transferring and formatting existing content, checking responsive behavior and improving elements relevant to technical SEO and page quality.
The frontend was coded specifically for the supplied design rather than assembled from a generic theme.
Shared patterns support consistent product, industry, content and campaign pages.
Existing content was moved into the new system while preserving structure and readability.
Complex enterprise content adapts across desktop, tablet and mobile layouts.
Page structure, metadata-related implementation and content presentation were reviewed during development.
WordPress allows the marketing team to manage content without editing core frontend code.
04Technical approach
The project used PHP and WordPress for content management, with custom HTML, CSS and JavaScript controlling the presentation layer.
The key architectural goal was to prevent custom design requirements from creating an inflexible theme. Repeated sections were treated as reusable patterns, making it possible to apply the design consistently across a large number of pages.
The implementation also needed to account for existing WordPress content, different page types and the practical needs of editors responsible for maintaining the website.
Technical challenge
A page can look accurate in isolation and still fail as part of a larger website if spacing, headings, buttons and content structures are implemented differently from template to template.
Reusable theme patterns and shared styling rules were used to preserve consistency. This allowed the website to expand without every new page requiring a completely independent frontend implementation.

06Outcome
The completed work provided ComplianceQuest with a custom WordPress implementation capable of supporting its extensive product and marketing content.
The project demonstrates my ability to work on websites where scale and maintainability matter as much as the visual result. It required close attention to frontend accuracy, theme architecture, content migration, responsiveness and technical page quality.
Rather than treating each page as an isolated build, the implementation established reusable patterns that could continue supporting the site as its content expanded.
07Contribution
I design and build custom web platforms, interactive interfaces and production-ready digital products.
